Elmo have reached the Final of the Live & Unsigned event held at the Glasgow's Royal Concert Hall on March 13th. After performing for Malcolm MacLaren (Sex Pistols), Elmo won through to play the Scottish Final.

Well hello

Good news for all of you who have been emailing asking about our new EP. It's done and ready to go. It features 4 new tracks and 2 old oldies. We love it and we're sure all of you will too.

The CD is in production now and will be available over the next month. We are about to announce some live dates soon for early next year so keep an eye on the site.

In rehearsals at the moment with new tracks sounding great.

Elmo have just been asked to play at the Barfly on the Levi's One to Watch event supporting Fight Like Apes who are currently on tour with the Ting Tings.

FLA new album has just gone Top 10 in Ireland and it promises to be quite a gig.

Elmo have just announced they are to support Canadian singer songwriter Sam Roberts at King Tuts on Sept 29th. Sam won 3 canadian Juno Music awards in 2004 and then went on to play the canadian leg of Live 8 in 2005 and this year supported the Eagles on their world tour.

Elmo will be promoting their new material which is in the final stages of pre-production.

Just a wee message to let you all know Elmo are currently in writing mode and new material is coming thick and fast. It's always interesting to approach new songs as new chords appear, new ways to play and and it's very easy to think too much, but i suppose thats the Elmo way...
