Elmo rocked the crowds in Paisley's Lush Bar on Thursday 2nd June. The half hour set featured new hit "Salvation", along with "Miss LUV" and "Here we are", as well as some old favourites.

ELMO have been invited back to delight the Paisley crowds later in the year, so watch this space!!!

Elmo received a rapturous welcome on 1st May at their debut at "BIG IN FALKIRK". Playing alongside Artists such as Tony Christie, Freefaller, and Les McKeowens Bay City Rollers, ELMO graced the main stage in the outstanding manner we have now become accustomed to. Despite the typical festival weather, mud and wellies, Elmo delighted the crowds with songs from their album "On This Day", and premiered their captivating new song "Here We Are".....

Following on from this huge success is ELMOS CARLING ACADEMY DEBUT ON THE 26TH JUNE!!!! WATCH THIS SPACE FOR FURTHER DETAILS..........

Two amazing wins in a row mean Elmo are set to play not only the main stage in Big in Falkirk, but the prestigious Carling Academy! On Thursday 14th April Elmo blew the competition away in the Final round of the Big In Falkirk Competition. Their win sees them set to take on the main stage at The Big in Falkirk event on Sunday 1st May, alongside artists such as M People, Bay City Rollers, Steve Brookstein, Javine, and many more. Not content with one win, the following evening at the Semi-Final of the Emergenza UK event, Elmo went on to win a place at the Emergenza UK Scottish Final in June (date to be announced). Elmo are delighted with the news, and are surely set to dazzle; and if the fans reaction over the last two gigs is anything to go by, Elmo's fan base looks set to rocket.

Elmo would like to thank their dedicated fans, and ask them to continue supporting them through the next exciting few months. Elmo are set to appear in the semi-final of the Emergenza UK event on Friday 15th of April in Vertigo, Strathclyde Uni. There are 8 bands playing and it promises to be a great night with some great tunes. To get tickets for this event at the usual discounted rate just go to the gigs page and follow the onscreen instructions, otherwise email the band via the contact page. It couldn't be easier...

Elmo have been selected to appear in the final heats of Big in Falkirk which will take place in Rialto (note change of venue), Falkirk on 14th April (on stage 8pm). From hundreds of bands, Elmo are now in the last 15 and are due then to go forward to play the main stage event in Callendar Park in May to a possible audience of 100,000 people!!!!!!!!! Entry to this event is FREE just watch this space for any updates. Please show your support to Elmo by coming along, it will be a great night for the band. Thanks...

Elmo would just like to thank everyone who came along to the Barfly gig on Saturday (19th Feb). It turned out to be a great night for all things Elmo and your support on the night resulted in us going through to the semi-final of the Emergenza UK event to take place in Strathclyde Uni in April. Hopefully you all liked the new sound with Bob having a great debut gig on lead guitar and also the premier of new song 'Miss LUV'. Elmo are pleased to announce that Bob Smith joins the band on lead guitar. Bob has a great deal of experience and showed himself to be very well equipped in rehearsals to deal with the demanding material. He quickly put his very unique stamp on the Elmo sound and looks forward to being part of Elmo's success in 2005!
